The District

Every ten years, local governments use new census data to redraw their district lines to reflect how local populations have changed. With this recent redistricting, Senate District 39 has changed and grown, and now encompasses parts of San Miguel, Santa Fe, Torrance and Valencia Counties.


Below is a list of precincts within each of those counties that are now in District 39. If you know your precinct, simply check to see if it is listed. If it is, then you are in the newly redrawn District 39.

If you don’t know your precinct, it’s easy to find out if you now reside in the new District 39. Simply click here to go to the Secretary of State’s voter portal. You’ll be asked for your first name, last name, birthday and county in which you reside. Then click search. This will take you to a page where you will find your current Senate District.
